Athena Dasiou-Yiannou is an educator, writer and editor with a rich writing work mainly for children. She has been repeatedly awarded in literary competitions but considers her greatest prize to be the smile and love of children when they read her books.

Athena Kontogianni studied French, Japanese and English literature. She received a degree in Hagiography from the George Kordi School of Iconography. She has participated in exhibitions and is also involved in mural painting and book illustration.
