Myrrh is an aromatic resin extracted from the bark of the Commiphora Myrrha tree which grows in the Middle East and Ethiopia. According to Christian tradition, myrrh is one of the three gifts offered to Jesus Christ by the Three Magi and the same herb was used by Mary Magdalene to anoint His feet.
