Saint Olga was the queen of Russia who abandoned idolatry and embraced Christianity. He was of Scandinavian descent and worked hard for the Christianization of the Russians. She was declared an apostle for the valuable services she offered to the Christian Church.

In 957 AD. she visited Constantinople and was baptized as a Christian with the name Helen. She died in the year 969 AD. The Orthodox Christian Church commemorates her on July 11 of each year.
