Mount Athos weathered lithography (icon) of Saint Panagiotis the New Martyr in pine wood with carved decoration.
Saint Panagiotis the New Martyr came from Caesarea of Cappadocia and martyred in Constantinople at the age of 20. His remains were buried in the temple of Zoodochos Pigi. Fragment of his Holy Relic is located in the Hermitage of Saint Panteleimon of the Koutloumousiou Monastery on Mount Athos.
The Orthodox Christian Church celebrates his memory on June 24 of each year.
