Saint Therapon was a hieromartyr of the Christian Church originating from the East. He lived in the 7th or the beginning of the 8th AD. century and was the bishop of Kiti in Cyprus. He was beheaded on the Holy Table by Arab pirates. His relic was transported to Constantinople where a small temple was built in honor of the Saint.

Saint Therapon, the miracle worker, is the patron saint of the city of Zografou in Attica. The holy relics of the Saint are kept in the Holy Monastery of Zografou on Mount Athos. A liturgy of the Saint was written by Saint Nicodemus of Mount Athos. The Orthodox Christian Church celebrates his memory on May 14 of each year.
