Marjoram from the Holy Monastery of Iviron - Mount Athos.
Its leaves are used as a spice, usually in meat and fish, but also as a decoction. Essential oil is obtained from the leaves of the plant, which is used as an antiseptic and antispasmodic and has uses in perfumery. It is collected and packaged at the monastic house of the Ascension - Monastery of Iviron.
