Adamantini the Martyr is a Saint of the Orthodox Church, who lived during the first Christian centuries, the time of persecution. She came from Edirne, Thrace and was at a young age when she, 39 other young women and their teacher Ammoun the Deacon were arrested by the ruler Vavdos and taken to the king of Thrace Licinius with the order to sacrifice to the idols.

The Saint, together with the confessors and their teacher, refused and so the king reserved martyrdom for all. Saint Adamantini along with nine other virgins were chosen to be burned alive and thus testify in the year 305 AD. Her memory is celebrated by the Orthodox Church on September 1.
